En su aniversario de bodas fue diagnosticada con cáncer en etapa avanzada, pero ella no se rindió

El sueño de esta australiana era poder tener una boda de ensueño.

Jessica Vainiera de 27 años se casó en el 2016 cumpliendo ese sueño. Fueron momentos de dicha y felicidad los que vivieron en un principio Jessica y Adam, su marido que actualmente tiene 19 años.

Jessica se dedica a ser asistente educativa y profesora de danza.point 124 | Tenía planes en ese entonces de celebrar en grande su aniversario de bodas con Adam.point 195 | Pero una noticia fatal cambiaría todo.point 229 |

Tenía algún tiempo sintiendo dolores en el pecho por periodos cortos, pero estos se fueron intensificando desde su luna de miel y un día mientras estaba dando su clase de danza, el dolor la hizo colapsar y fue llevada de emergencia al hospital.point 205 |

Resultaba muy extraño que una chica que llevaba una vida sana, que se cuidaba mucho y se encontraba en forma, pudiera padecer algo similar. Debido a este ataque, Jessica tuvo que hacerse exámenes durante tres meses y hasta ese momento habían descartado varios posibles padecimientos, pero fue hasta el tan esperado día de su aniversario que fue diagnosticada con cáncer en etapa 3.

Más específicamente, Jessica padecía un linfoma primario mediastinal sistémico no hodgkiniano, este es un tipo de cáncer muy poco común que por lo general llega a etapas muy avanzadas pues en las primeras es casi imperceptible. Esto ocasionó que se desarrollara un tumor en el pecho que crecía rápidamente y que hacía que la vida de Jessica pendiera de un hilo.

Fue el peor regalo que pudo haber recibido precisamente en su aniversario, todos sus planes se vinieron abajo y quedó devastada ante la terrible noticia. Era muy desconcertante pensar que podría morir pronto, justo cuando estaba tan plena y feliz en su vida. Deseaba poder envejecer con Adam, formar una familia y ser feliz, pero esto parecía complicado.

Pero a pesar de los resultados de sus exámenes, los médicos le dieron una buena noticia esperanzadora, pues al parecer, este tipo de linfoma tiene una tasa muy alta de poder ser tratado cuando se interviene a tiempo y tendría la posibilidad de someterse a un tratamiento pesado pero que aseguraría salvar su vida. Finalmente, Jessica podría celebrar su aniversario.

Comenzó entonces a combatir su padecimiento junto con el apoyo de su esposo, de sus familiares y amigos que jamás la abandonaron. Así lo hizo y cumplió todo su tratamiento, aunque fue muy desgastante, no se rindió, a pesar de que no podía seguir dando sus clases de danza, no se desanimó y dedicó todo su tiempo y energía en reponerse de su enfermedad.

Actualmente, en su segundo aniversario de matrimonio, ha mantenido en remisión su padecimiento. No ha dejado de ser una chica alegre y con muchos sueños. Además, ahora Jessica tiene dos grandes motivos para celebrar esa fecha, pues ha logrado sobrevivir a su cáncer y la boda con el hombre que la ama y apoya en todo momento. Esta es definitivamente una historia conmovedora.
