DragonBall Z fue uno de los programas animados de televisión que atrapó a toda una generación, esta serie fue estrenada en 1986 pero su retransmisión duró muchos años extendiéndose hasta principios del 2000.
Incluso muchos jóvenes, actualmente, siguen siendo fanáticos de esta caricatura.
Uno lo grandes seguidores de esta serie es Julian Low. Él sueña con ser como uno de los protagonistas de Dragon Ball Z, pues fue una inspiración cuando era muy joven y sufría de abusos por parte de sus compañeros de la escuela. Era entonces un chico débil y vulnerable y por ese motivo lo golpeaban casi todos los días.

En una entrevista reciente Julian declaró:
“En la escuela era como un soñador, o muy distraído. Me costó muchas burlas. Me veían como debilucho, mucho de lo que viví me lo guardé y podría decir que Dragon Ball fue mi escape”
La historia de Julian es sumamente interesante, te invitamos a conocer cómo es que hizo este chico para convertirse en un “Súper Saiyajin humano”.
Su personaje es Trunks quien es hijo de Bulma y Vegeta, es reconocido por llevar el cabello violeta y además es un viajero del tiempo que viene del futuro para pelear contra el malvado Freezer convirtiéndose en un Súper Saiyajin. La obsesión de Low por este personaje lo llevó a convertirse en Trunks de carne y hueso.
Este personaje en la serie también llega del futuro para advertir sobre la próxima invasión de los androides y de la enfermedad del corazón que sufre Gokú. De la misma manera, Julian tiene algunos mensajes para sus seguidores y algunas declaraciones sobre su transformación en este personaje animado.

El joven también confesó que fue un proceso muy complicado poder superar experiencias traumáticas que afectaron su autoestima, pero que afortunadamente el deseo de superar estas experiencias lo llevó a convertirse en el personaje que tanto admira, Trunks.
“En el colegio siempre fui bastante distraído y soñador, lo que hizo que se burlaran de mí. Muchos me veían como una persona débil y lo que viví me lo guardé. DragonBall se convirtió mi escape, es uno de los animes más intensos y profundos que he visto”.
